Before my kids invaded, I had a super chic life. I lived in NYC, worked for some of the biggest and best women’s magazines (think Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle and O, The Oprah Magazine) and got to do amazing things like plan massive multi-city tours for 2,000 women and sell lots and lots of ideas to the beauty and fashion world.
Maybe because my jobs in fashion and publishing gave me access to the hottest and latest, but I always seemed to be the go-to girl for recommendations and advice: where to eat, where to go on your next vacation, what to wear to your ex-boyfriend’s wedding…everyone came to me. Nowadays they call that being an “influencer”….I just thought I had a good rolodex!
At the time, I had no idea that all those experiences would fuse together and create Flirty Girl. But you know what? Sometimes the road to your true home isn’t the one you started out on and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.
